The 5th is a longer par 4, but not one that needs driver, with the prevailing wind generally behind and a line of trees lying in wait on both sides of the fairway. This hole meanders slightly to the left, so right centre of the fairway off the tee is the perfect line to attack the flag. Well-placed bunkers are a feature of Penfield, but not here. The green is large and inviting and there is no sand to be seen so there is a definite birdie opportunity on our true rolling greens should you get close to the pin.
